Dr. Tomoya Higo (Project Associate Professor) has been awarded the 26th Marubun Research Encouragement Awards

Congratulations to Dr. Tomoya Higo from the University of Tokyo on receiving the 26th Marubun Research Encouragement Awards for his outstanding research achievement on the “Development of Functional Properties in Topological Antiferromagnet Mn3Sn” This award is given to young scientists who have demonstrated remarkable research results and are expected to contribute to the creation of future industries by advancing science and technology or improving creative industrial technologies.
Dr. Higo is a core research member of the Mirai project. His research on exploring spintronics functionalities of topological antiferromagnets has garnered international attention. We applaud Dr. Higo’s talent and dedication, which have earned him this prestigious recognition, and we look forward to seeing his future research further impact the field of quantum materials and spintronics.

肥後友也特任准教授が、丸文財団の丸文研究奨励賞(令和4年度)を受賞しました。
この賞は、「科学技術の進歩ならびに次世代の産業創出に資する創造的産業技術の向上に対して最も貢献が期待される顕著な研究業績、将来的に貢献が期待される研究業績、または成果を挙げつつある研究を表彰するもの」です。受賞業績は、「トポロジカル反強磁性体Mn3Snにおける電子機能開拓」です。
